About Me

Ever since a very young age I have loved to create and design. For me, art and creation were my form of therapy, a way for me to articulate and identify feeling through 3-D form. Sewing instantly became my outlet and a way for me to connect with my family, growing up my mentor and teacher was my Grandmother. My Grandmother taught me everything I know and supported my exploration as I grew up. I attended Barnstable high school located in Cape Cod Massachusetts to further my education and participate in the fashion design department offered there. Currently, I am studying fashion design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY.

Fashion is one of the most vulnerable art forms. whatever I create I have two goals in mind, I aim to create clothing that has meaning and evokes emotion in others. while also creating functional and enjoyable clothing for all shapes and sizes who wear my pieces.

Currently, in my design process, I am experimenting with a mix of timeless silhouettes while adding materiality shifts and embellishment techniques. My design process always starts with an emotion or attitude, I try to answer my own questions as I create. All my pieces are handmade by me and available in made-to-order sizes.
