My thesis collection is inspired by stained glass and Gothic architecture, rooted in personal exploration. Conceptually, my collection reflects my evolving relationship with the church—particularly my thoughts on sin, imperfection, and the idea of incompleteness. I translated this concept into my work, using textiles and strategic cutouts to highlight individual pieces rather than a "complete" form. My designs embrace the beauty of brokenness, emphasizing that our so-called flaws are what make us unique. Without them, we would all be the same. I encourage others to see their challenges and missing pieces not as deficits but as opportunities for growth and self-discovery. I contrast tailored, professional silhouettes with elements of exposure, challenging the notion that revealing skin diminishes elegance. I question traditional tailoring in womenswear—moving beyond merely adapting menswear to female bodies—and instead, reimagine elegance for the modern era.
