Designed and produced during my semester abroad in Florence Italy. The Reawakening capsule collection was inspired by my connection, to the tale of sleeping beauty. I focused heavily on fabrics and sourcing locally. Linen and cheese cloth used for the dress were sourced in Greece. Along with leather for the jacket sourced in Bologna Italy. Using fabrics to inspire my designs, I started all my looks with draping. Creating looks that amply femininity along with confidence. The idea of sleeping beauty as a character and the contrast to Maleficent. What would a product both influence be? What would she wear? Finding the balance between sweet and sultry.
